Galactic Greetings

Charity here with a pair of space-tastic cards! This years movie line up has me hohohoing...and falalalalaing in sci-fi tones. To celebrate the return of my favorite space flick I assembled this pair of Christmas cards.

My first card uses a combination of Christmas paper,

Star Wars stencil, and Kreaxions punch # 914.

Not to be left out, Kreaxions punch #312 adorns

the sides of this white and foil number.

A Joyful Christmas

Joan B. here today sharing a Christmas card.

I created this Christmas card using the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch  #914  with no insert, creating border strips.  I backed part of the cut out on the strip with red circles from a hole punch.  I then layered the strips creating the Christmas tree.  I love border strips they are so versatile and can be used in so many ways  … let the creativity begin!

 

 

 

 

 

My little Deer w/ Ange

 Hello! Ange here today with a super fun layout for you.

In our town Christmas is a pretty big thing and they start to celebrate the day after Thanksgiving.

This particular year my son was invited, along with the rest of his pre-school class to be in the children's parade and "pull" Santa's sleigh.

I have to tell you the teacher did a great job and the kids all made the cutest little reindeer.

Of course, I was partial to my own little deer.

 

 

As you can see I used the Holly punch #914 a ton on this layout and it looks awesome!

I started with my background layers and worked forward from there.

To get that beautiful border on the bottom edge of the green polka-dot pattern you just line the punch up so that the corner piece overlaps just a little. No insert needed.

Along the top of the green pp, I used the A insert.

 

 

Next up I used the C insert to punch the corners of my photo.

I love the detail this adds to the layout and it seldom effects the photo, because there's often nothing important in the corners.

 

 

Last I added some pp corners up at the top and used the B insert to let the punch go deeper and leave the corner punch out for more interest.

 

 

I finished up by adding liquid pearls in green to the leaves of the punch outs and red stickles to the berries.

Warm Cards

Hi! I'm Louise and I am very excited to be joining the team here and working with all these great Kreaxions punches.  Winter has been very long here and we ready for Spring. I made these 2 cards using the same papers and card design, but gave one a Winter theme and one a Spring theme.

I love using the star template with the punches to create beautiful circle or doily shapes. I used the daisy punch 902 to create the circle on the Spring card (left) and punch 914 to create the circle on the right. I used negative pieces from both of these punches on the Spring card. The mountains and snowflakes on the Winter card are from punch 312. 

These cards were easy and fun to make!

Welcome back to the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Blog.
Charity here with a double page spread and PROOF that this year I will get my Christmas photos scrapped on time!

Our family photo tradition includes a giggle fest. We aren't so good at smiling on command so we tell funny jokes or bits from our favorite movies. Once everyone is laughing the photographer snaps like crazy and we consider it a successful photo shoot.

For the blue photo mat I used a great framing technique that Joan showed us, here.

For the right page I again used Punch #914 on the die-cut corners. I also used the same punch with the 8cm Inner Positioning Parts to create the reverse doily frame for my title.

Santa is coming to town

Hi it's Chris here today sharing this Santa card!  To create this card I  matted the stamped image on cardstock using my Kreaxions circle cutter.  I then palced the matted image on doily I created using the Kreaxions Star Template and Punch # 914 with the "A" positioning parts. I just love how the doily turned out!

Merry Christmas

Hi, Colleen here to show you a Christmas  tree I made using punch 914.  I used a styromfoam tree and painted it white (I didn't want the green showing through).  I punched strips of paper and used both the positive and negatives, cut them to the lenght I wanted, folded the paper over and used a straight pin to put the paper in place.  I used 3 different papers but this could easily be made with one sheet.  I also took some of the brown and light colored paper and wet the paper and rolled it around a wooden dowel I had, once it dried, I cut them in half and added them to the. To finish it off I put a flower on top. I just loved using this punch, gives such a Christmas  feel.
