How to Make a Bling Free Gentleman's Gift Tag

Charity here with a tutorial on how to make a bling free gentleman's gift tag. For those of you with men adverse to glitter you have seen the signs. At the sight of too much shine their eyes widen, their breathing accelerates, and you can see their hand twitching, desperate to vacuum up the mess before it happens!

~ Gentleman's Gift Tags ~

Even with a ban on glitz and glam, a gift tag doesn't have to be plain. I used primary colors, punches, and layers of paper. This kept the tags simple without being too basic.
The base layer is cut to 5"x 3.25". The middle is 4.75"x 3".
The top is a sticker in complimentary colors.

For the Thanks Tag I used a die to cut the word "thanks"
from the center of the sticker.

For the Lion Tag the corners of the middle layer are punched
 with Kreaxions Punch #305. The base layer corners are rounded.

  For the Royal Tag I used the Kreaxions Punch#611 on the lower corner.

 After assembling the tag I trimmed the top corners so the layers lined up.

 I cut down on the frills by using ric-rac to hang the tag.

The boys need never know it is from my collection of vintage trims.

That will be our little secret!

Today's card uses the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and Punch #611.

~ Celebrate ~

The pink shreds of paper were simple to create and look so striking against the black paper. For this card I started with a 5" circle. I reset the cutter to 1/2 inch smaller and repeated the process till I had several circles. I cut the circles in half and adhered them to the card front.

 

I trimmed the ends individually until I had a staggered look. I misted a flower to match the paper shreds and and attched it over the top with leaves. The gold crowns have a dot of adhesive and a strand of twine that lets them drape from under the flower.

Crown Birthday Tag

 

Hi Chris Here and today I am sharing this simple birthday card I created which would be perfect for the princesses in your life.  I started with a simple tag. I adhered several crowns that I punched from scratch papers using my # 611 punch.  After adhering I used gesso to cover the crowns and the tag.  I then colorwashed ( a facny term I use to describe randomly adding multiple water colors)  the tag using ColourArte Twinkling H2Os. After the watercolors dried I added my tag to my card front and added robbon, a sticker greeting and a gemstone.  Hope you are inspired to create!

Happy Birthday Crowns

HI Chris Here and today I would like to share with you this card I created using the Kreaxions punches.  I started with a simple background of piece of patterned paper matted on cardstock.  I then used my Kreaxion's circle cutter to cut my circle and then marked my punching lines with Template A.  I used punch # 901  to punch along the marked lines on my circle to create this doily. I then added my greeting and punched a crown from glittery paper using Punch # 611.

With school back and in full swing there is nothing better than a calendar that is updated to schedule all important things to do. Charity has a great project to share with dates and events marked to keep everyone organized.

Colleen made this for my grandson to hold for his first day of school. I used Punch 923 and used them for the top of the paper and then punched out the little square and then cut around them to make the square along the side. I will deconstruct this and use it on the LO about his first day of 4th grade.

Louise's page shares her son heading off to his first day of middle school. I used punch 906 to make the zigzag border, punch 916 around the journaling box, and punch 611 for the crown embellishment.

Ginni used white cardstock and red vellum along with Kreaxions Punch #917 to create this Valentine’s Day card. The arrows are stamped, the vellum and the corners are punched. The bow is a scrap of ribbon.

Joan L used punches #905 & #607 on this super cute card.

Bev used Punch #311 to make the border to make the easel card stand up.

Going Green - March Design Team Reveal

Hello and welcome to the March Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team reveal!  This month our theme was St. Patrick’s Day and/or all green.  The team really rocked it with some fun variety and fabulous creations! 

Lisa made a card using Kreaxions Punch #907 for her border and added the negative to the top of it. She also used a piece of the border for a pennant at the top of the card and used Punch #611 to punch the crown. Then she added the punched crown to the sentiment and added Stickles to it.

Charity made these ADORABLE Planterfly Spring Plant Decorations using the Butterfly Die and Kreaxions Punches #606, #901, #905, #910 and #912.  She also showed how to use these adorable decorations! (See the second picture.)

Joan used Kreaxions Punch # 909 with positive and negative punched border strips along with the extra punched pieces to create this fabulous card.

 

Ginni made an anniversary cards using a sketch by our very own Bev Code and used Kreaxions Punch #917 with the Kreaxions Star Template. Cutaway pieces create the border at the top right.

 

Jackie made a STUNNING decorated box!  She started with a plain wooden box, added a layer of Gesso and then painted it Teal. After it was dry she added a layer of Golden Crackle Paste. Once the Crackle paste was dry, she mixed some Gelato metallic mint with water and painted it on.  Next she used Kreaxions Punch #919 and created a border and used the negative pieces for the top. Then she used the punched pieces for the edges of the top. The Kreaxions Butterfly Punch #604 created a couple of butterflies to add to the flowers.

With Easter just around the corner Bev made a Friend card and added Kreaxions Punch #917 with insert A to add depth to the image mat.  It's perfect!

Karen made a fabulous layout.  In the corners she used Kreaxions #907 under one of the pictures on the rust paper and used Kreaxions Punch #312. On the top right she used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to make a scalloped border. The paper is a light green and each paper has green in it.

And last but certainly not least Erin made an ATC or pocket card using Kreaxions Punch #311 - both as a border punch with insert A in the tan and green, and also as a stencil with molding paste.

Happy Birthday Card

Hello and good morning....

Today I am sharing a lil Happy Birthday card that I created for a sweet niece of mine with an upcoming birthday.

I used some Glitz papers and the Kreaxions 611 crown punch..
I punched a row of crowns and added the watercolor paper underneath for lots of color....

And then used one of the punched crowns to add to the banner sentiment:

pretty girlie right???? I hope she likes it and feels like a lil princess on her special day..

I used Kreaxions Punch #916 and the Kreaxions Star Template to create this page about my grandmother, my aunt and my parents. The border was created with no template, then I used all the cutaways from the star template as well. All the papers used on this page were 6x6!
