How about a silly photo and busy layout to put a smile on your face today!

This great photo of my daughter called for bright colors and lots of references to enjoying each day as it comes. This was the perfect opportunity to use both the negative and positive of my Kreaxions flower punch (#601). I also gussied up the edge of my flower border with Punch #305.

Welcome to the Just Imagine Blog.

Today's project is a celebration of one of my recent accomplishments...my acceptance into Occupational Therapy School! If you find that scrapping about yourself is difficult try combining events with random photos.

For this project I photocopied my acceptance letter then cut and highlighted the pertenent info. I also shrunk the image and reprinted it to add to my layout as a whole. The photo of me is a recent one taken by my daughter.

For the doilie I used the Circle Cutter, Star Template, and Punch #305.

The butterflies are punched from cardstock using Punch #604.

I also made a mask using the same punch and added more butterflies with Modeling Paste.

July Design Team Reveal!

Today is the monthly design team reveal!  I apologize for the delay but this reveal was worth the wait!  Enjoy the creations the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team has created for you this month!

Our first project is a layout by Bev who says "sometimes a page just needs a base in background to hold it all together. What better than a Kreaxions Circle Cutter ring. It was perfect."

Next up is Charity who made this beautiful card using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, Kreaxions Star Template and Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #305

Next is a FABULOUS layout by Erin who used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #907 and the Kreaxions Star Template to create the doily, edges and corners.

Ginni used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #903 with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, Kreaxions Stencil A and Kreaxions Positioning Parts 8 cm to create this layout full of punching.

Jackie used papers from Reflections All Occasions Paper Pad. She used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #310 to create the border and also to punch the two corners. She also used the fabulous Kreaxions Circle Cutter.

Joan used the Kreaxions Star Template, Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #303 with Insert A.  The border strips are the positive and negative pieces using Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #303 with no insert

And last but certainly not least is Lisa who used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #309 and the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. She cut the circle and punched around 3/4 of it just eyeballing it. Then she punched a border with no insert and added only the fall away piece to the right side of her layout.

Welcome back to the Just Imagine blog!

For today's project I used the Butterfly Die and Punch #305

~ HAPPY ~

Using the Kreaxions tools made this a super quick project.

First I folded my paper in half then off set the die so that the wings and antenna remained connected.

I cut another butterfly and used Kreaxions 3-in-1 Punch #305 on the wing tips. With a little inking and a fun wood sentiment this mini-card was ready to go.

Nature's Beauty

Happy Saturday!

Lisa here with you today to share my layout from our vacation to Canada.
The photo was taken at Niagara Falls. We were so happy when we got there and saw this beautiful rainbow.
I used the Circle Cutter to cut my circles the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #305 for the border and added the negative piece to the top of the photo and added a small piece for my banner:

Autumn

Hi everyone and it is the first Monday of November almost turkey time...  I can't wait my dad makes the absolute best stuffing ever!!  For my post today I made a card using Kreaxion 305 punch.  What everyone needs to remember is that these punches do so much more than make simple borders!

Step 1. You take your and mark the lines as shown - then you take your Kreaxion circle cutter and cut a circle out of the center

 Step 2.  Then you take your punch and punch along the edge where the lines are

Step 3.   You end up with this center doily piece - now what you can also do is cut another cirlce around the edge - I left it

Step 4.   I then used the corner piece to punch corners on my paper - as shown

and this is my finished cad - GORGEOUS right!  like I said these punches do so much more than make simply easy borders! 

I used some really thick foam tape so the top sheet pops off the page - gave it a really cool effect

Haunted

Happy Monday - only a few more days until Trick or Treat!! and believe it or not I dress up and go with my nieces I am so short you can't tell I am an oldie... They love it and we have an absolute ball.  So for my post today I made a shadow box and used my Kreaxion 304 for my top border of the shadow box and Kreaxion 306 to make the bats in the background.

Hi everyone Monica here to share my post.  My project actually was for our October DT Reveal but I missed getting it posted so I want to share it with everyone today.  I used SEI patterned paper I am not the best with layouts but I am really going to try and get more done next year.  

The large flowers I made the old fashioned way by fussy cutting some paper 

I used Kreaxion 304 to make the under border

October Fall themed DT Reveal

Welcome to October Fall themed DT Reveal. 

Up 1st up is Ginni's great page.

On this page she used all 4 styles of Kreaxions Punch #918. I used template A on the outer border of the page with Template C on each of the four corners. I used the punch with no template to create the top and bottom borders. The cut-away piece is at the bottom. And I used Template B on the corners of the mats and photo on the right. I used a couple of cut-away pieces on the photo at the left as well.

Next is Lisa's Friends page with great fall background in photo also.

 and in the close up you can see the details. Used Punch #907 for border and added negative to bottom of layout.

Charity then shared this great page.

For this layout I used the Circle Cutter, Punch #304 with inserts b and c for my photo mats, as well as Punch #611 as a border punch.

Here is Joan's Perfect Fall Day.

Used the positive and negative parts of the punch #305.

On Karen's Pumpkins means Fall page she Used the Circle Cutter to make a scallop border and punch #306 with no inserts.

Next up is Leeanne's Moments of Fall.

For this layout I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter To create the circles as well as Kreaxions 4 In 1 Punch with Insert A for all the little designs to add some interest to the page.

On the top left hand corner of layout I used my Kreaxions Circle Cutter and cut some circles 1 1/2 inch and 2 inches.

Welcome to the August GDT is Joan Borgelt

Hello! My name is Joan Borgelt and this is a little about me in a nutshell: 

A wife to Randy for 33 years, an education manager by trade, a mother to 3 and grandmother to 9, passionate about scrapbooking and paper crafting, and super excited to be a Guest Designer here at Just Imagine Crafts .. and creating with the Kreaxions Punches.

Scrapbooking and paper crafting let me exhibit and explore my creative side. I love all things vintage, the beach, traveling, working out and reading a good book! 

 For my first project I did a layout of our granddaughter Gracelynn. She is just the happiest baby and always smiling. What a little sweetie!
I used the 4 in 1 punch #305 to make the border on the strips of patterned paper and adhered them to the blue cardstock background. I then applied the washi tape for a funky look. I used the 4 in 1 punch #901 to make the cluster of butterflies. The punched strips of patterned paper on the layout where so perfect that I didn’t think I needed to add a lot of other embellishments. Just adding a few word stickers and some paint spatters was enough to completed the project.
