If you have a die cutting machine you will love this Kreaxions thin "Butterfly Die"! Since the Design Team featured the "Butterfly Die" for their reveal on the first I thought I would use the die again, but in a different way. I used the negative piece from the die to create this card. After making my base card out of white cardstock I covered the front with washi tape. I then cut out two butterflies using the die and used the negative pieces. I adhered them to the front of the card over the washi tape and added my sentiment. This has been such a fun and versatile die to work with ... so many ideas and so little time.

Believe Tags and Home Decor

Hi everyone!  Laura with you today sharing some tags I made for a home decor project that is also inspirational! More of a workout for the #901 butterfly border punch from Just Imagine Crafts it's one of the prettiest punches I've seen!

 

These tags go with a cute clipboard that you can keep or add more inspirational quotes or verses to later.  You can find the clipboard on my blog HERE.

This butterfly border punch gives the tags a delicate lacy look, and by adding a little Distress Ink or by adjusting how much of the punched border is peeking out from the bottom of the tags, you can change the look as you can see in the close ups:

How to Make a Bling Free Gentleman's Gift Tag

Charity here with a tutorial on how to make a bling free gentleman's gift tag. For those of you with men adverse to glitter you have seen the signs. At the sight of too much shine their eyes widen, their breathing accelerates, and you can see their hand twitching, desperate to vacuum up the mess before it happens!

~ Gentleman's Gift Tags ~

Even with a ban on glitz and glam, a gift tag doesn't have to be plain. I used primary colors, punches, and layers of paper. This kept the tags simple without being too basic.
The base layer is cut to 5"x 3.25". The middle is 4.75"x 3".
The top is a sticker in complimentary colors.

For the Thanks Tag I used a die to cut the word "thanks"
from the center of the sticker.

For the Lion Tag the corners of the middle layer are punched
 with Kreaxions Punch #305. The base layer corners are rounded.

  For the Royal Tag I used the Kreaxions Punch#611 on the lower corner.

 After assembling the tag I trimmed the top corners so the layers lined up.

 I cut down on the frills by using ric-rac to hang the tag.

The boys need never know it is from my collection of vintage trims.

That will be our little secret!

Spring is in the air...... Somewhere

This one I made with Kreations punch # 902  with insert A...

then used the punched daisy and an embellishment....

Cute, huh???

Easter Card

Joan here today sharing a card I created for one of my grandchildren.  I created this whimsical Easter card with patterned paper scraps and materials I had in my stash. I also used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, the B Stencil, Positioning Parts 8cm (small) and punch #302.  I embossed the doily and then cut it in half before attaching it to the card which made a great focal point for the bunny.

Spring in the Air

Ahhh....Spring!  Are you ready for it?  Living in the midwest I sure am!  Laura here with you today, sharing a sweet little card that has me thinking Spring thoughts!  Check out the sweet butterflies and flowers on this doily.....yep, punched with a Just Imagine Crafts Kreaxions punch!

I've created the doily on this sweet, simple card using the Just Imagine Crafts template, and punch #901 the sweet butterfly border punch!

How to Make A Fantastic Card with Luxurious Feathers

Charity here from Scrappin' Chaos with directions on how to make a fantastic card with luxurious feathers.
Painted feathers, layered over black then foil paper, is enhanced by using Kreaxions #906 all around the edge.
A simple color scheme with well placed bling makes this card shine!
~ Let The Magic Begin ~

Punch #906 has a truly versatile design. The outer edge is rounded while the
inner design appears to be scalloped points, feather shafts, or even bats!!!

Directions:
To begin I die cut feathers from purple paper then detailed them with paint.
I also painted the leaves and shaped the rose. The silver card base is a 5x7.
The black mat is cut to 5x5.5 inches and punched with Kreaxions #906.
The corners are punched using Insert C and the sides using Insert A.
The sentiment banner is 4x3/4 inches. Each end is punched with #906.
