Hi everyone, Lisa here with a bright and cheery floral card that works for any occasion.
I created the background paper myself for this card, using Kreaxions Punch 902 and strips of American Crafts cardstock. I started with my base piece first, which I cut 1.5" wide. The rest of the strips are .75" wide.
I wanted to have alternating colors behind the punched flowers on the strips, so I decided to tape cardstock circles on the backside of the strip. This gave the punched strips more dimension, too.
I used a .75" circle punch and snipped just a tiny bit off of the edges to the circles would fit on the strip without hanging over the edges at all.
I also used the positive part of the flower punch to decorate my stamped tree. I stacked two different colors together, slightly off center, and glued then in the center.
The tree is stamped on a three-inch circle cut with the super-awesome Kreaxions Circle Cutter. It works so fast, it's like using a punch. I love it.
Thanks so much for looking! Happy Easter and happy crafting!! --Lisa Bedigian
