Hi Everyone,
Barbara here and it's time for a Sunday Inspiration. It's been so hot here in the midwest I thought I'd make a Christmas card to cool off. Well, I didn't get any cooler but I decided this is probably going to be my Christmas card for the upcoming season.
I love working with Petallics (a shimmery card stock) and silver CS , however they are tough to photograph.so,I apologize for the glare, I took so many pic's and never did get rid of the glare.
This card is a trifold design and the card stock is a beautiful shimmery blue. I love this card design and I added a belly band to add elegance to the card. I used punch # 923 on the belly band and it ties together with the inside.
Here is the back of the card showing the belly band punched out all the way around. I actually layered the belly band. I used a silver band with a slightly smaller punched shimmery band on top.
Here is the inside. I decided to layer the sentiment. I used the star template to give me the 8 sided doily look. The circle cutter cuts out the sentiment. I centered the sentiment on top of the doily. Again I used punch 923 with inset C to achieve the corners you see here on the silver CS.
That is it for today. Stay cool and I will be back in a few weeks. Have a great week.
Currently it sounds like Drupal is the best blogging platform available right now. (from what I've read) Is that what you are using on your blog?

Wow, that punch on the band was exactly the perfect choice - it so matches the feeling you created.
