Lisa M. here with you today to share a vintage layout I made with a photo of my Grandmother and my Mom. I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #905 for my border and punched it just enough so the fall away, or negative piece would stay attached and used the entire punch for my border. I then used the Border Punch #804 and punched the top right corner of my photo mat. Loved the results, subtle, but yet enough.
Here is a close up of the border:
Thanks for stopping by today and hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Lisa M here today to share a layout I lifted from a talented friend, Stacey Mentor. I used the Kreaxions Border Punch #804 on the top and bottom of the red photo block. I also used Kreaxions #604 Butterfly Punch and punched twice, once on my banner and once on a square and used the negative piece.
Hi everyone, today at Just Imagine Crafts I am multi tasking.... so many fun things on this page.
Over at My Scraps and More Let's Lift It month is going on and the lift is from Tracy .. but her twist is to use RED.
Then all the challenges at My Sketch World are focused on the members work from the gallery and this specific challenge is to use lots of punches (4). Well this all put together was easy.. because I love my Kreaxions Punches from Just Imagine Crafts. In the close ups you can see that I used the full punch Kreaxions #311 and matted it to show the amazing punch. Above that I used #804 that is a clustered floral and above that is the fall away piece from the top banner punches. All layered in rows gives an amazing effect. On this close up I used the Kreaxions #907, put slits into it to form a banner across the top. Also I used #913 with insert A to punch the corners and peaks of the background shape and matted them so they too would pop. When you work with prints you often have to matte things so they show up better. As you can see all these fun challenges put together turned into an amazing layout. So glad you could stop by today.. and hope to see you again soon. Bev DT
It's Barbara here with my Sunday Inspirations post. I wanted to share with you one of the new punches that I just received. It's punch 804. This punch makes a great border and that is how I used it on todays card.
I love the detail on this punch. The pieces that make up this punch are smaller but the punch gives a very very crisp design and look how the color of the underlying paper shows thru. That's what makes this punch so cool.
When I punched the border I just started with the punched image on the top and the bottom of the paper strip but then I decided to add the punch to the sides and I really like the added dimension it gave to the strip.
The red circle was made with the Kreations Circle Cutter. The Circle Cutter really makes it so easy to cut any size circle from 1" to 10". One tool to cut so many different sizes. How nice is that!!

Sorry - computer problems prevented me from posting earlier today!!! I want to share two cards that the talented Sharon Hinckley created for us.
Here's a Springy card using the tulip punch #601, and the edge punch
#804. Corners are punch #913 using the C wings. The tulips were
fun: punch one green and one red, then superimpose the red on the
green and raise up. What terrific ideas these punches create!
This may be one of my all time favorite cards. From Sharon:
This one I've made in two sizes. This is the standard 5 1/2" x 4
1/4". I used the punch #802 plus peel offs in the corners. This
sold out at the Vancouver Symphony card shop this last weekend! The
photo doesn't do justice to the red glitter behind the punch outs!
This is one of my favorite punches in that it lends elegance to any
Thanks for taking a look!! Come back soon for more Design Team Inspiration!!
Hi Good day to every one.. Bev here. I have been playing with punches and have a few things to share with you.
On this card I gimmer misted first. Using Kreaxions punch #804 I punched 6 pieces then hand cut around them to form petals of a flower. I can me made any colour to match any card or layout for that matter. On a layout it could be a fabulous cluster.. will have to try that soon. The centre can be a button, brad or even bling stone.
KREAXIONS PUNCH #902
is used to create the cards below..lots of little fun ways to play with this punch.
On this card I used Kreaxions Punch # 902. With the botton border I even used the fall away piece to give the pointed edge below the trim colour. The side border used insert A. The little flowers with stickles centres are the pieces that fell away when punching the border... they are so cute.
On this card the same Kreaxions Punch #902 was used to border like a fence around the garden. Also the little accent pieces on the bottom used the same punch and I trimmed off around them to form the shape that is left.. Looks alot like a little automobile on the road ..Just need tiny people to finish it off.
On this card I did double row of border punch.. makes for a fabulous looking trim..added stickles to centres for accent. The little flowers again are from fall out pieces of the border punch. The flower is 6 of the border cut apart and shaped to look like petals of a flower. The centre one also cut from same pieces. Added stickles again to centres. Kreaxions Punch # 604 used for the butterflies and doodling to show flight path.
As you can see.. just use your imagination and have fun with these Kreaxions punches. You never know what you can do until you try it. Hope you enjoyed my fun creations. See you again soon and have a great day... hugs Bev
