Ange here today and I'm super excited to share with you a little treat I made for my daughter's volleyball team! I enjoy putting little things together for them when I can and I love watching my girl play.
I can't wait to see some more games! But in the mean time.... here's what I made for them.
I have this little print out I got a few years ago. It's actually for Valentine's but I just put the name label over that part and it works great to give to the girls.
I used punch #909 to add a some bang to the printable before wrapping it around the Rolo candy bars (add a bit of twine for a "fuse"). I backed each side with some blue cardstock to make the punch design stand out more. This cute tag was cut directly from Moxxie's Volleyball line, then I used my punch in the corners, backed it with yellow cs and tied it to a grouping of dynamite.
This is one of my favorite quotes from the line and it looks awesome with the 909 punch design exploding it along it.
This tag was going to be really busy with wording so one punch up at the tip works perfectly here.
Here's the projects all grouped together.
Don't you think this is a fantastic way to play with your punches?
This month I am focusing on one of my favorite Kreaxions Punches - Punch #311. I love the design it leaves, love the pieces it punches out and love how versatile it is! My first project this month is a layout of my Grandson Robert a couple of years ago. His Mom made him this giant sandwich wrap and he asked his Dad “Can I eat the whole thing?” Dad’s response was “You can TRY!” LOL!
I used Kreaxions Punch #311 with no inserts to create the border at the right which I threaded my ribbon through. I used Mini Glue Dots to hold the ribbon pleats in place. Here's some close-ups of how I pleated the ribbon...
I used all the cut-away pieces for my embellishments.
The 8” circle was cut with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and the corner at the top left is the cut-away piece from the paper I cut the circle from.
Other Materials – Sketch – Bev Code; All Papers – Carta Bella; Bling – Bling It; Brads – Prima; Pens – Infinity, American Crafts; Ribbon – Offray; Ink – Colorbox
Hello everyone! I'm SO happy to be returning to the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team! There's so much exciting news coming so be sure to check every day for updates and inspiration! This month I'll be focusing on hearts using mainly Kreaxions Punch #917. If you'd like to win this punch along with a Kreaxions Circle Cutter and a Kreaxions Star Stencil, go to my blog linked at the end of this post and leave me a comment. I will pick a random drawing winner from those comments on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
My layout today is based on a sketch by Audrey Yeager at My Scraps & More. I used Kreaxions Punch #917 with no template for the border on the left banner. Then I used the cut-away pieces all over the page. The picture is of my oldest Grandson Noah. Can't believe he'll be 10 soon!!! They do grow up fast don't they?
This is a picture of our first fruits produced last year. Living in South Florida means we have opposite growing seasons from most of the country so our harvest time is in the spring. My husband and I planted a mango tree the first year we lived in this house. Ten years later it is HUGE and is producing the most delicious mangoes you’ve ever tasted! So that inspired him to grow more things. Two years ago my husband cut the top off a store-bought pineapple and stuck it in the ground “Just to see what will happen.” Within a year we had a huge gorgeous plant and we were quite happy. About 2 years into its growth we noticed a tiny little pineapple! It took almost a full year to grow to full size and this is the result! It was DELICIOUS!
So when I decided to do the layout using this picture I wanted simple elements to show off the fruits of my husband’s labors. Kreaxions 4-in-1 punches are perfect for those simple additions to your layout! I determined that I wanted to use all four of the variations of Punch #915 Verdure on this page. I used the punch without a template on the title block. Template A is the border in the middle. Template B is on all four corners of the layout. And I used Template C on the corners of the photo mat. That’s the beauty of the Kreaxions 4-in-1 punches – with the price of one punch you get FOUR different looks! In these days of economic crisis, that’s a big plus!
Also in this time of giving thanks I would just like to send out a great big THANK YOU to the Just Imagine owners. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of this fabulous Design Team and I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for choosing me!
