Get Well Card

I find I don't make very many "get well" cards but I recently bought myself a set of stamps that had the "get well" sentiment in it and I decided I'd make up a set of cards to start sending to out to my friends and family when they are under the weather!

 
I used my butterfly die (I have a slight obsession to with butterflies so I use this die often - it's just so versatile!!) and my new 920 special star 4 in 1 border punch on the sides to frame my center piece. I love the way the border gives a "bracket" look! I just need to make a few more so I'll be prepared if I need to send any get well wishes out!!

Fluttering Away...

Hi, Angela Fehr here! I can't believe that this is it - my last post for Just Imagine. I've had such a great time being part of the design team and creating projects using my Kreaxions punches and dies.

I have been thinking a lot lately about living life to the fullest. To me, it's not about completing some "bucket list" or having exciting experiences so much as learning to savour daily moments - the little things life is made of. Which is why I love the sentiment on this card.

I used punch #903 and the butterfly die for this card. I love the way the colour shows through the punched areas. And it was easy to punch the butterfly for a little added detail.

Well, my design team term may be up but my punches will not be retiring - they will be near at hand so I can continue to enjoy the versatility and beauty of each punch and template. 

Layered Punched Pieces...

Hi everyone! Wendy here and I'm back with a wedding card using Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #916.  I was playing around with a few punched strips and discovered they create a cool effect if you tuck the one under the punched swirls. 

Supplies Used:

• Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch 916
• Stampendous Narcissus Clear Stamps
• ColorBox Petal Point Wild Hare Ink
• Me and My Big Ideas Stickers
• ribbon

Instructions:

1. Punch two strips of paper using Punch 916. Cut the swirl design off one of the punched strips. Layer the strips, tucking the paper under the punched swirl design.
2. Stamp flowers on cardstock. Mat with white cardstock. Adhere to cardbase.
3. Embellish punched cardstock with ribbon and sticker. 
4. Adhere to card with foam adhesive.

Smile with your Heart

Hi Everyone,

It's Barbara here again with another Sunday Inspiration. I recently received a great punch that has hearts on it.It's punch 917 and I had envisioned using it for Valentine's Day and I'm sure I will. However the punch goes great with this stamp set that I used for todays card. It's funny how things just fall in place.

 

The 4 in 1 punches are quite the bargain. What other punches give you all that versatility with one punch. I am really always amazed at the different looks you can achieve when you use the inserts that come with each of the 4 in 1 punches.This is the punch I received the other day. It has wide versatility and will work with so many different themes besides Valentine's Day. I can see it used on a scrapbook layout with pic's of family, love, the grand kids, your husband, the kids, oh I am sure you will think of many many more themes and uses. Make sure to look at the whole array of Kreations punches, I am sure you will see something that is the perfect punch for your project.

Fantastic Friday!

I have a sweet little card to share today.  This card was created from a 3 1/4 x 12" piece of patterned paper (Teresa Collins Posh Line) the Daisy 4 in 1 Punch and Star Template.  I created a doily for the top portion of the card and let it overlap just a bit to create the flap.  The rest of the doily is folded over the back of the card.  I also punched two strips that I fussy cut for added interest along the ribbon on the front.  The strips are embellished with teeny pearls in the center of the daisies.  It is a nice little touch that adds a bit of bling (who doesn't like bling?) to the card.  A few flowers, a stick pin and my beloved twine top off the top flap of the card nicely.  As an added bonus, I chose double sided cardstock for my card so the inside is already finished off for me. :)

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday.. and more circles

I know we at Just Imagine keep using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter BUT it really is as amazing as we say. Here is my layout using lots of circles as the background accents... perfect little circles and lots of them.. ink them, add a button trim and it's beautiful. This layout is inspired by a sketch by Victoria..many thanks for the use of it. Hope you have a great day.. hugs Bev

Two punched corners

It doesn't take a whole lot, just two little punched corners really dressed up this card.

 
All I did after I finished my card was to pick up my Number 922 4-in-1 punch by Kreaxions and my plain corners were all dressed up.

Fun Ball

I wanted to make some thing different to hand from my son's mobile, and when I saw this tutorial I thought it would be perfect!  The circle cutter made this project so easy and much faster than normal!  Here's the first finished one.

Kreaxions Punches Are So Very Versatile!

One of the things I love the most about the Kreaxions 4-in-1 punches is that you can use them for any style of layout or card!  You can jazz them up, play them down, whatever fits your mood or subject or style.  They’re SO versatile!!!  Today I’m going to share two layouts with you.  One is very simple with just a corner punch.  The other is very fancy yet the techniques to create it were very simple! 

The first layout is of my husband and two of my grandsons at the beach last month.  I love the looks on all their faces in this picture!  I wanted to keep this layout simple because it’s just the guys having fun in the water.  So I simply punched the corners with Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #915 using Template C.  I used the cutaway part to enhance the stamped title.

 

 

 

The second layout is my new sister-in-law walking down the aisle with her daughter as her Maid of Honor and her son escorting her.  The sketch is by Alyssa McGrew for Your Scrapbook Stash.  I cut the oval on my Cricut and then used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #905 Template A to jazz up the oval.  The corners of the layout needed some pizzazz so I changed to Template B and punched the corners.  I didn’t want to just leave a square on there so I cut off the corners and used the first one as a template to create the other 3 so they’d be uniform. 

 

I hope this shows you just how many different looks you can get with these punches!  And I hope they’ll encourage you to try your hand at creating jazzy and simple projects!  Happy Punching!  Ginni

 

You are a Wonderful Friend

Good morning, Stephanie here.  There is something so right about creating with black, white and red.  I love the color combination.  Today's card features punch 921, one of my favorites, along with the Circle Cutter, another favorite!

 

My card is 5" x 6 1/2" and I punched each corner, then lightly inked them.  I cut a smaller mat of red to fit inside my punched area and also punched the corners.

I stamped my image on white cardstock and used the Circle Cutter to cut it to the size I wanted.  Because the stamp was larger than I needed, I had to cut off part of the image.  That is the beauty of using the Circle Cutter - if you need to make the circle smaller after you've cut it, you can, without a problem.  I then cut a larger mat from black and another larger white circle.  All the edges were distressed and lightly inked.  I added a strip of black cardstock and ribbon across the center of the card which was tied into a bow on the right side.

The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and also cut with the Circle Cutter - you can make any sized circles you need.  Then a larger black circle was cut for the mat.  The sentiment was added to the bow with a paper tagger.
